Addison & Associates and Aniscon Consulting have developed this tool to help local authorities undertake what is a complex task of evaluating and improving the street scene and public realm. Authorities can take the tool and apply it themselves or they can seek support from the consultancy team in a variety of ways to suit their needs as follows:

• Initial advice on applying the toolkit
• Training in utilising the toolkit
• Facilitation of key meetings or phases such as visioning with stakeholders or undertaking the assessment
• Undertaking an audit of policies and /or processes
• Working alongside the assessment team throughout the process either as advisors or as part of the team
• As a critical friend or challenge mechanism
• To support the development of the action plan
